You know you live in TX if..

Anybody there? Well....anyways...
Yesterday Jack and I were watching Jeopardy. Up came a clue that went something like this:
"It's the most popular stolen car in West Virginia and Texas."
Jack and I immediately said, in bored tones, "pickup truck". Here is what happened on TV:
Contestant #1: What is an SUV?
Alex: No.
Contestant #2: What is a tractor?
Alex: No
By this point Jack and I are no longer disinterested but are screaming at the television, "IT'S PICKUP TRUCK!!! DUH!"
Contestant #3: What is a truck?
Alex: Be more specicfic.
Contestant #3: What is a flatbed truck?
Me and Jack: HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW THIS! PICKUP TRUCK YOU--! and here I am afraid we started calling names.
Alex: No. The kind of truck I was looking for was a--
Me and Jack: PICK. UP.
Alex (smiling. apparently amused): --pickup truck. Bob, your turn.

Seriously. It's the most obvious thing in the world. Right guys? Those people were so oblivious. I almost pitied them.

Oh, this just came to mind. You'll laugh. There was an ad on TV a few days ago for some late night show. "Such-and-such takes two Hooters girls on a tour of the inauguration!" Whats-his-face is in DC with two girls, he points at something and says "...which president?"
One of the girls promptly replies...
"Harrison Ford!"

HARRISON FORD *dies of laughter*

*whispers* And I would think it was a tractor too! It's a Texas thing.
